Aligeidar Rajab oglu Rzayev, born on December 6, 1955 in Baku Azerbaijan, is a married individual with two adult children. He obtained his degree in Physics from Azerbaijan State University in 1978. Rzayev's career has seen him work as a teacher at the Caspian Higher Naval School in Baku and later as a senior inspector at the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of Azerbaijan. In 1991, he defended his PhD thesis in philosophy at Azerbaijan State University.

Since 1994, Rzayev has resided in Dubai, engaging in commercial activities until 2005. He collaborated with companies such as Senao and Jumbo and contributed to various foreign academic journals while also working with the Russian-language magazine Aviamost since 1996.

From May 2005 to January 2020, Rzayev served as the Executive Editor of Aviamost magazine, overseeing its transformation into the only monthly magazine in the Middle East region. His work focused on covering cultural and tourist attractions in post-Soviet countries, events organized by diplomatic missions, and activities of friendly nations. He conducted numerous interviews with prominent politicians and figures across culture, art, sports, and business.

Rzayev's tenure at Aviamost led to the magazine being awarded the "Best Russian-language media outlet in the UAE" by the Russian diplomatic mission. He was also a member of the Board of the World Association of Russian Language Press (WARP) from 2008 to 2020. Additionally, Rzayev participated as an observer and media representative in the presidential elections of Uzbekistan multiple times and received a jubilee medal in 2021 for his contributions. Since 2017, he has collaborated with the online publication "Time Abu Dhabi," publishing articles on various topics including the success of post-Soviet countries in international competitions.
