Serbia in Focus: EurAsia Gulf and Serbian Business Council Unite Leaders to Expand UAE–Serbia Trade and Investment

EurAsia Gulf, in partnership with the Serbian Business Council, convened an exclusive Eurasian Tuesday networking evening that brought together business leaders, investors, and diplomats from across the UAE, Serbia, and the broader Eurasian region. The special Serbia-focused edition highlighted the country’s accelerating growth in trade, logistics, and innovation, as well as rising bilateral opportunities between Serbia and the Gulf.

Opening the evening, Dr. Marko Selakovic, Chairman of the Serbian Business Council, shared practical insights into how the Council supports entrepreneurs and investors working between Serbia and the UAE—facilitating market entry, partnership development, and cross-border dealmaking. His remarks emphasized Serbia’s strategic location, competitive talent, and pro-investment environment as key drivers of new collaboration.

EurAsia Gulf CEO, Mr. Nawar Abdul Wahed, outlined the organization’s activity plan through the end of 2025, including curated networking programs, market-briefing sessions, trade missions, and investor roundtables designed to catalyze high-value connections across the UAE, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and other East European, Central Asian, Balkan, and GCC markets.

Underscoring investor appetite, Elite Sponsor and AGI Holding Chairman, Dr. Sadeddine Mneimne, announced the upcoming Global Investors Forum (GIF), scheduled for December 4 in Georgia. The Forum will convene capital allocators, founders, and policymakers to explore cross-border investment opportunities and accelerate growth across priority sectors.

Throughout the evening, participants engaged in targeted networking sessions with key stakeholders and decision-makers, exchanging perspectives on Serbia’s economic outlook, trade and investment flows across the Balkans, GCC, Central Asia, and East Europe, and practical pathways to market expansion.
