Russian Export Centre concludes multi-sectoral business mission in Dubai
DUBAI, 25th April, 2024 (WAM) -- The Russian Export Centre today concluded its multi-sectoral business mission, which it organised in Dubai on 24th and 25th April. Two days of business-matching, thematic roundtable meetings and pitching sessions helped Emirati guests get better acquainted with Russian products and breakthrough solutions.
A total of 29 Russian companies presented their products and services under the ‘Made in Russia’ brand. This included software for financial companies, a biometric facial recognition platform and neural laboratory, IT solutions for manufacturing and training, and architectural and landscape design. More than 60 meetings were held on the first day of the mission.
The mission started with the thematic session “Russia-UAE: New Opportunities and Perspectives of Cooperation in the Spheres of IT-technologies, Education, Tourism and Creative Industry”. The session provided an insight into the peculiarities of entering the UAE market. Participants of the session included Andrei Terekhin, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the UAE, Rashid Al Teneiji, Director of International Business Development and Trade Promotion Department at the Ministry of Economy, as well as experts from the UAE business community.
As part of the business mission, Russian companies visited Dubai Internet City, Dubai Silicon Oasis, the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, the UAE Ministry of Education, and the UAE Ministry of Culture and Youth.
