Gobash receives top Russian MP

DUBAI, 28th November, 2024 (WAM)-- Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), received Inna Svyatenko, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, who is currently visiting the UAE to participate in the Global Women's Forum Dubai.

During the meeting, ways to enhance cooperation and partnership in various fields were discussed, in light of the progress witnessed in the friendship and strategic partnership between the UAE and the Russian Federation.

Saqr Ghobash affirmed that the distinguished level of political, economic, and tourism relations between the two countries has been reflected in parliamentary relations and close cooperation between the Federal National Council and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

For her part, Inna Svyatnenko congratulated the UAE on the occasion of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad, wishing the country and its people continued progress and prosperity.
