Women’s Diplomacy in Action: H.E. Halima Al Sayegh Unites Leaders from the GCC and Eurasia Under the EurAsia Gulf Umbrella
Bridging the GCC, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia
The May 7th launch marked a significant milestone for EurAsia Gulf, functioning as a vital strategic bridge for cross-border business ties. Led by Committee Head Her Excellency Halima Abdullah Rashid Al Sayegh and Deputy Head Anna Mileeva, the exclusive event convened ambitious female leaders and entrepreneurs from a diverse array of nations. Attendees included prominent businesswomen from the United Arab Emirates, alongside executive representatives from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and beyond.
By facilitating this inaugural intimate lunch, the EurAsia Gulf Women Leaders Committee established a robust foundation for ongoing professional networking. The gathering was meticulously designed to connect Emirati women with international leaders, creating a dynamic environment dedicated to expanding economic collaboration and advancing female leadership across multiple high-growth regions.
Insights on Cultural Diplomacy and Intercultural Business
A core focus of the inaugural session was the intersection of cultural heritage and modern enterprise. Her Excellency Halima Al Sayegh, a preeminent guardian of Emirati heritage and the Founder of Rabdan Heritage Consulting, delivered the keynote insights. With a distinguished career spanning nearly two decades in Cultural Economics, H.E. Al Sayegh shared invaluable perspectives on local Emirati culture and best practices for intercultural business communication.
Her Excellency is widely recognized as a diplomatic bridge-builder, having served as a board member of the UAE Businesswomen Council for ten years and as an honorary Cultural and Economic Ambassador for five cities across Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. During the event, she provided actionable strategies on how women from the UAE and the broader GCC can effectively collaborate and build lasting partnerships with their peers from Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Drawing from her extensive background-which includes her work as an award-winning master artisan of fine jewelry, designer of the "Union Knights" horse regalia, and creator of the ceremonial sword for the late Sheikh Zayed-H.E. Al Sayegh emphasized the profound link between cultural respect and commercial success. Attendees also learned from her expertise as an acclaimed historian and author of four seminal cultural books, recognized by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi.
Collaborative Planning and Future Initiatives
The event’s comprehensive agenda extended beyond cultural exchange. Anna Mileeva, Deputy Head of the Committee and an experienced MBA Coach and Human Performance Strategist (HPS), played a pivotal role in guiding strategic discussions among the attendees.
Participants engaged in active networking and committee planning, collaborating on the upcoming calendar of events and long-term initiatives for the EurAsia Gulf Women Leaders Committee. In a significant announcement for the region's professional community, H.E. Al Sayegh confirmed that these empowering gatherings will now be held on a monthly basis. This commitment ensures a permanent, reliable platform for businesswomen across the UAE, GCC, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia to cultivate enduring professional ties.
