Dubai Hosts Historic First Eurasian Balkan Business Forum, Uniting Leaders from Over 30 Countries

Dubai, UAE — September 25, 2025 – The inaugural Eurasian Balkan Business Forum, co-organized by EurAsia Gulf and the UAE–Croatia Business Club, convened on 25th September at the prestigious Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre. The forum marked a historic milestone, positioning the United Arab Emirates as a global hub for fostering economic cooperation between Central Asia, the Balkans, East Europe, and the Gulf region.

The event brought together more than 200 delegates, including government officials, ambassadors, investors, and prominent business leaders from over 30 countries, including the UAE, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and others.

Forum

The forum was officially opened by H.E. Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council. Distinguished keynote addresses followed from H.E. Rauan Zhumabek, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UAE, and H.E. Abdulaziz Akkulov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the UAE, who highlighted dynamic trade and investment opportunities in their respective nations.

With participation from more than 35 ambassadors, consuls general, and senior government representatives, the forum served as a powerful platform to explore cross-border partnerships, expand trade, and strengthen diplomatic and economic ties.

The program featured three high-profile panel sessions:

  2. Bridging Eurasia & the Gulf: Business & Investment Dialogue
  3. Crossroads of Innovation: AI as a New Silk Road for Business

These discussions underscored the region’s commitment to collaborative growth, innovation, and a future shaped by shared prosperity.
