An oil and gas company from Uzbekistan plans to enter the UAE market

The oil company from Uzbekistan SANEG plans to bring its products, in particular, base oils and refined products, to the UAE market through a new multimodal container warehouse.

Igor Gusenkov, director of corporate communications of the company, told Trend about this.

“Currently, a plot of land is being allocated for the project to create a container site. It will be located near the Samarkand airport,” Gusenkov said.

It should be noted that in July this year, AD Ports Group, a leading Emirati company in the field of international trade, logistics and industry, and SANEG, one of the largest oil and gas companies in Uzbekistan, signed an agreement to establish a joint venture to accelerate the development of logistics, infrastructure and services in Uzbekistan and bringing Uzbek products, in particular SANEG products, to the world market.

“It will be a joint venture with AD Ports (UAE). At the moment, regulatory documents for the project are being developed, and an investment plan and budget are also being developed,” Gusenkov noted.
